When Life Hands you Lemons...

Go shopping at your favorite Timeless Antiques shop in Aurora the Antique capital of Oregon and purchase a great Lemonade set!

I had the pitcher from a previous hunt and when I saw this darling vintage set of six glasses and "chippied up" carrier I knew they had to come home with me to live happily ever after.

As you can see the painted graphics on the pitcher is a little different but the two pieces really compliment each other...

and its very much like my flower garden, sort of a mixture of a little of this and a little of that...

and red is one of my favorite colors so I knew I just couldn't pass this little set up...

don't you just love the fine rustiness on this handle!

 yep...I do too!

Now all we need is to go fill up that pitcher with some fresh squeezed Lemonade and go back out to the porch, pour a glass and sip...

BTW, Timeless Antiques has an eBay store and it is just as full as the shop in Aurora!

Oh and this week I'm joining Susan from Between Naps On The Porch for another Tablescape Thursday! OK well this is sort of a mini tablescape but hey, I've been busy antiquing and not setting my table...

  1. Just lovely! That was elegant in it's time, can you imagine the proud homemaker serving her guests? Now it is cheery and full of vintage charm. Love the emotion dishes can bring.

  2. Terry- What a fun find! I can remember those glasses-my mother had some very similar ones AND the pitcher to match. I think they were one of those "special purchases" through the A&P store in PA! Lovely! xo Diana

  5. You couldn't pass that up! That is the cutest thing! It is too darn hot here to do anything outside. We went swimming yesterday and I was excited for the first refreshing jump in... no refreshing jump. It is like really warm bath water! I can't complain though! At least we have a pool to jump into in our neighborhood! We are heading to the beach next week to see if it is cooler! Enjoy your lemonade!

  9. Just love your glasses and pitcher!!!! What a great find. They would look so nice on the wrought iron table I posted about. Must admit, somewhat envious. Everytime I see these old vintage glasses, especially with a carrier, they are really pricey. Yours are perfect!

  10. Hey there! :) Glad you liked my idea of the turning the old drawers into storage....my kid needed all the extra room he could get in there! lol
Your glasses are just perfect in their little carrier! I think they match your pitcher spendidly! :) What a lucky find for you!

    Have a great day
