In Anticipation of Fall...

OK so I admit it, I'm really enjoying the beginning of Fall and what I think is the first hint of the change of seasons here in the Pacific Northwest.
Though we never really had much of a summer which you can see HERE, you can see the little bit we did have HERE and HERE and HERE
Autumn is the time I look forward to cozying in and snuggling with "Pearl the girl" under a warm blanket...

a warm bowl of soup that's been in my slow cooker all day...

watching Turner Classics on a rainy Sunday afternoon...

and the anticipation of the holiday season...
this is definitely my time of year!

Now that you know my thoughts for the day, I'm hoping along with a little more time inside, I can blog a bit more as well as visit each of you to see what you've been up to, its been a busy summer I have a few projects I plan on sharing in the near future so stay tuned for more...

  1. Hey there! I have missed you! I love fall. It is my absolute favorite time of the year for all the things you mentioned above minus the cozy cat on my head! The sad thing is we don't really have a nice fall here. It has cooled off here this weekend and was in the 70's so that got my fall spirit going! I am ready! I hope you are doing well!

  2. I agree my friend.. autumn is truly my favourite season and Christmas my favourite holiday! Wishing you a wonderful day! xo HHL

  3. did you do that bedroom Terry?
    OMG, it's so fabulous!
I love Autumn too, just winter gets too long.
    Great pics!

  4. Autumn and winter are the loveliest seasons in my book too. We are entering our Spring now, so our thoughts are turning to flowers and gardening at the moment.

  5. Yep, I'm ready to put out fall decorations (nothing like yours) but I love the colors and the cooler weather. I don't even mind the cold coming with winter.

  6. I can't say I'm enjoying this colder weather, I'm more of a Spring/Summer girl. But I admirer and envy those who do enjoy it. Very snazzy slow cooker by the way and absolutely adorable pic of Pearl and you.

A penny for your thoughts...
