No need to look any further...

Hello and happy Sunday to everyone!

Today has been such a beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest that I just wanted to share a little of where I live. A very dear friend sent these two films to me yesterday and I was just in awe watching them! The photography is breath taking and the scenery is some of the most beautiful on the planet!

The movies you are about to watch is why I love living in one of the most amazing places on earth...turn up the speakers and enjoy the shows...

"Finding Oregon"

This second brief film
"Finding Portland"
is the city in which I work and live just south of

the "City of Roses",
Portland Oregon...

Hope you enjoyed the show and I'd welcome visitors in person anytime as the porch light is always on at my house!

  1. A number of years ago, I was in the Portland area for a conference and fell in love with it. We drove down the coast highway and encountered several little 'burgs' that seemed to be home to a number of artists and various galleries. We sampled cheese and wine all the way down and back up again. What a beautiful spot on the planet! You are living in paradise!

  2. Very fun videos! I've spent over half my life as an Oregonian and miss it, especially seeing the beautiful videos. Luckily, both of our kids are in college there, so we get frequent trips back. :) Thanks so much for sharing!

  5. In the summer we refer to our humble piece of paradise as our Bed and Breakfast. I'm always amazed at how many friends and relatives love coming to visit and enjoy Oregon. Of course, we love having our guests and spoiling them. One summer we went from one group to another, all summer, barely having time to clean house and fill the fridge. That was so much fun!

We've been thinking about renting bedrooms during the Olympic Trials but I can't get past the stranger in the house issue.

    1. Hey Oregon friend!
I agree, I feel like we live in a B&B too sometimes!

Gosh don't know about the "stranger in the house issue" either but sharing during the Olympic trials would be cool.
