Well finally...its my favorite day of the week...Saturday!
I plan on enjoying the sunshine HERE in my garden for most of the day because we all know there are only so many Saturday's in one's lifetime and they are ours to do with whatever we want...
so that's what I'm going to do while listening to the birds sing...
outside...
in my garden...
for as long as the daylight remains, I will be out there where the air is fresh and the sky is blue...
I might even wear a long Pink frock and apron,
who knows...because its my
Saturday in the garden...
What do you have planned for your Saturday you've been given??

Terry -- I LOVE that quilt!! I have some gardening to do today. I was already out there (in my PJ's) with the dog -- came in with a big handful of cherry tomatoes. Herbs need cutting and bunching for drying. I adore days spent putzing in the garden. My sewing machine is also calling my name this morning. Have a lovely day :)

Your quilted piece is so pretty! Your garden sounds dreamy. I plan on a day of painting. Enjoy your Saturday! Twyla
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty pink!
ReplyDeleteMy Pink Saturday post, have a great weekend!
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday greetings from Holland.
with love,

Nice little quilt. I like the imaginative way you used the buttons!
ReplyDeleteAside from doing some watering in my garden earlier and some weekly mundane stuff in the house. The latter part of my day will be helping serve a barbecue dinner at a fundraiser for a lady with metastic breast cancer and really needs the financial assistance. I'm fortunate to live in a small caring community just south of Carson City in Nevada.
ReplyDeleteNV Bonus Mom
NV Bonus Mom, I am always so amazed at what you do in a day! I think the one thing that never fails to stand out is you put others before you and always know when someone needs help.
ReplyDeleteI hope the BBQ goes well and from way up here in the PNW, I'm sending a cyber hug for doing what you do! I'll give you a ringy-dingy tomorrow afternoon/evening.
Love you!
We all need a day we can call our own. You found yours and took advantage.
ReplyDeleteYour quilted piece is just lovely! We are just hanging out today. Tom mowed the yard, Jemma played with a friend while we ate lunch and visited with the parents. Then we curled up in bed and watched a movie while it thunderstormed! I love lazy days. I am making a big pot of spaghetti and then we are off for ice cream! Hope yours is great in your garden!!
ReplyDeleteTerry-- the work in that quilt is so beautiful the detail!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank-you for mentioning the Miracle Makeover!

ReplyDeleteTerry, your post gave me a big smile. And, that wall hanging is beautiful. I am glad you love your Saturdays. They are a gift.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in this very special Pink Saturday. I hope your visitors will come over to comment and help us to raise more money for the next Miracle Makeover. The good news is that you can leave a comment each day through the 18th, and each comment earns $1.00. So, please come comment again and again.
Enjoy your mild weather and the last few weeks of summer. Soon the first frost will arrive.
ReplyDeleteI think September and early October are wonderful in the PNW. I'm just looking forward for the heat to lessen here, so I can get back to the garden.
Just a little reminder that the linky for Wednesday's Bunny Hop is up and running on Tuesday night.
