First of all, Happy (almost) 2011 everyone, may you have a safe and happy year!
Today I'm joining Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for her first annual Blogging Blooper Party!! And you thought the magic just happens without a few boo-boos...wrong!
Like a deer in the headlights...
so just because you're short (5' 1" to be exact) doesn't mean because you can't see the reflection of the camera in the mirror that it isn't there...
Note to self:: next time get out the step ladder...
OK so now y'all know I have the same green Costco kitchen towels everyone else has...they're nice but not so nice they belonged in this photo shoot under such a lovely centerpiece!
"Unch" anyone???
I know all the food was edible for our Christmas breakfast because our family lived to tell about it, however I don't recall anyone asking for seconds on the "Unch"
Note to self: turn the flash off before the shoot...
Note to self: turn the flash off before the shoot...
Then we have the Christmas portrait of the girls...it never fails to amaze me how misbehaved children can be and how difficult it is to get them to sit still upright and pose just as you're ready to snap the photo...
Oddly, the same thing happens when trying to capture real people too...meet the "Ghosts' of Christmas" family, they're distant cousins of the Griswalds...
Terry this was great! I've done the "camera" in the mirror thing so many times! :) I love the kitties...I want to reach out and scratch that tummy! So cute! Happy New Years to you!

That was fun to see! I know we all have those whoops moments. Happy New Year! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteOh your kitties are adorable.. absolutely adorable. Mine just keeps rearranging silverware on my tablescapes.. I should have taken a few pics.. or saved them. I'll be clicking away and whoops the silver has moved..
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year..
How funny, lol! I think most bloggers with photo-heavy blogs have these mishaps. I know I do!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know which is cuter--your kids or the kitties...okay...bad Nana here- the kids win out! Happy New Year...wish I drank...I have grandkids here instead! lol Works for me- xxoo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love the camera in the mirror shot! I can totally relate. Every year I ask for one of those gopher sticks so I can reach the second shelf without stepping on my tiptoes but Santa hasn't brought it yet! :)
ReplyDeleteCute blog and i'm now a follower. Can't wait to hear more from you. Stop by and visit me when you have a moment!
Happy New Year!
Love it!!!! The camera in the mirror is priceless! I wish you and the Mr. a most blessed, wonderful, healthy, and happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLOL! What a cute post, and I recognize some of those bloopers from my house, too. Great minds and small frames! ;-)

I can relate very well to all of your bloopers! That is a beautiful reindeer and a gorgeous centerpiece!
ReplyDeleteNow,I have to tell you that I found another blooper in this post that happens to me all the time and simply drives me crazy because I never notice it until after I hit the publish button, which I am sure is why I noticed it here: "their" nice instead of "they're nice!" I don't know what it is about blogging that causes these bloopers but they are the ones that get me the most! Remember this one and use it in next year's blooper party! ♥
Hi again...thanks for popping over to my place! We certainly are not alone in overlooking our spelling bloopers...I find them everywhere! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the mirror blooper and yes those ghosts are everywhere! I am always worried about bloopers, but I bet no one would have notic3d the green towel. I had to look for a second to find that one.
